Meet Our Event PanelistsGamble Gilbertson Gamble Gilbertson, Principal of V! Studios, is on a mission to help scientists share their science with the world. Her unique 30-year background in communications, leadership, and project management has led to award-winning solutions producing traditional and digital media, animation, and cloud native IT solutions. Federal clients include NASA and NOAA. Awards include Communicator Awards, Telly Awards, and the SBA Administrator’s Award for Excellence. She is a proud alumna of Mount Holyoke College. Marci Heit Marci Heit is a voice over artist and animation producer with 25 years of experience. She works from her own recording studio and has clients around the country and worldwide. Marci's voice can be heard on television, film, commercials, games, greeting cards, training videos, websites, telephone systems and much, much more. Bill Klavon Billiam Klavon is a long-time fan, first time caller who appreciates the power of empathy and goofballery in the pursuit of storytelling that inspires. He started his career nearly 100 years ago in Chicago as an aspiring filmmaker, but quickly determined that advertising (and eventually, digital) paid better. Over the past 25 years he has led high-impact creative and operations teams, developing successful campaigns, products, and services for feature film studios, consumer packaged goods companies, industrial tool manufacturers, and for the past five years at Accenture Federal, federal agencies. He has remained close to his first love, film and television - he produced a documentary about the Japanese-American experience during WWII (SUSPICIOUS PEOPLE), is the creator/producer of a soon-to-be launched podcast focused on the impact of the 1980s on film and media (@thursdeighties), and is working to bring back Ferris Beuller in a limited streaming series sometime in 2023 or 2024 (SAVE FERRIS). Billiam has been married to the love of his life for the past 30 years (listen to their story here), has 3 grown sons, and lives in Purcellville, VA. Maurisa Potts Maurisa Potts is the Founder and CEO of Spotted MP (Marketing & Public Relations) and has more than 20 years of professional marketing, communications and events experience. Founded in 2008, Spotted MP is a small, women and minority-owned boutique marketing firm that provides distinctive and innovative strategies that deliver impact and build brand growth. Maurisa is known for her mission-driven work ethic, creativity, and expertise to deliver results for loyal firm clients. Her areas of focus include economic development, real estate, community place-making, lifestyle, and non-profits, having orchestrated work for a variety of local and national businesses within those industries. Over the years, her work has resulted in placements in regional and national print and broadcast media outlets, including The “TODAY” Show, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, PBS, NPR, and other leading media affiliates. Maurisa is a proud Virginia Tech Hokie graduate and is heavily involved in university advocacy initiatives.
