Kathryn Harris has over 26 years of experience representing clients on a wide variety of corporate legal matters in both private practice and as in-house counsel.  Most recently, Kathryn served as SVP & General Counsel for CNSI, a healthcare IT company, where she served as strategic advisor to the executive leadership team and led the legal, contracts and compliance functions of the business.  Prior to CNSI, Ms. Harris was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for DLT Solutions, a public sector value added reseller of technology solutions, where she was responsible for all company legal matters, including a significant private equity transaction. Before joining DLT Solutions, she was managing principal of Resolution Law Group, a firm she founded to provide affordable, outsourced and project based legal support to emerging and mid-market companies. Her practice included corporate transactions, government and commercial contracts, employment, licensing and IP protection, corporate compliance and commercial disputes. Kathryn also served as corporate counsel to Newbridge Networks Inc., later to become Alcatel Inc.  In that role, she represented the company on a wide range of matters - handling significant corporate transactions, commercial contract and licensing issues, and supervising the prosecution and defense of claims involving the company. Before starting her own firm, Kathryn practiced at Arent Fox, a major law firm in Washington, D.C., where her practice concentrated in commercial and construction litigation in federal and state courts nationwide.  She received her B.A from Lafayette College and her J.D. from the George Washington University National Law Center, and held a one-year judicial clerkship with the United States Claims Court in Washington, D.C.  Ms. Harris served as General Counsel and Board member for Women in Technology from 2002 through 2014, and is the 2015-2016 President Elect. From 2007 through 2013, she also served as an officer and Board member of WIT Education Foundation, where she was instrumental in developing the operations and programs in support of its charitable mission.
