Lynn Ann Casey, Arc Aspicio

In her 27-year career, Lynn Ann Casey has become a thought leader on homeland security consulting, strategy and management. In 2004, she founded Arc Aspicio – a management consulting and information technology company focused on homeland security and intelligence.

Lynn Ann knows that the success of Arc Aspicio is all about talent – experienced people with a passion for homeland security and the leadership skills to get things done for clients. As founder of the company, she has created a place where talented, experienced consultants create innovative ways to solve clients’ most difficult homeland security challenges. She is passionate about business and leadership, especially through education. Lynn Ann has won multiple leadership and homeland security awards. She dedicates her time to non-profit service for the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation and the Vasculitis Foundation.

Edith Davis, Florida A&M University
Edith Davis has a 20-year career as a scientist, career development trainer, corporate manager, and educator. She is the first African American Female Geophysicist in the U.S.. Edith has been a speaker on science, education, and the world of business for various conferences throughout the country. Within the past seven years, Edith has volunteered her time to teach science curriculum in urban schools.

She was a Woods-Hole U.S. Geographic Survey Research Fellow, and is a tenured Assistant Science Education Professor at Florida A & M University. She has a passion to increase Science achievement in children and credits her success of the Micro-Spiral Method, as a Divine download. As Founder and CEO of STEM Global Institute, Inc. and the SGI Scholar Foundation, Inc. she continues to pursue her passion in educating children in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Her book "How We Really Learn" was recently released by Tate Publishing(2015) and will be available for purchase at the event.

Andrea Heithoff, Octo Consulting

Andrea Heithoff is a long-time advocate to increase girls' awareness and pursuit of STEM careers. She's served as a WIT Girls In Technology mentor and supports Bancroft Elementary School in DC to enhance their technology enrichment programs. She works for Octo Consulting as a Senior Manager and has provided strategic advice to many different government agencies as they plan their technology investments.  

Priyanka Komala, The National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine

When Priyanka was five, she stepped on her first stage and gave an impromptu speech about an aeroplane. This excitement never left her as she went to become a distinguished speaker. At the US National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, she is responsible for creating and delivering the web strategy and future technological direction for a $30M division. Priyanka enjoys sharing insights on happiness, personal growth, entrepreneurship and women’s issues, and the potential of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) and has been featured on InPower and HelloGiggles.

Meg Lombardo is the President of MRL Strategy. Ms. Lombardo has spent fifteen years as a consultant in the Washington DC and Los Angeles, CA areas providing management consulting expertise focused in the areas of Information Technology, Acquisition, Policy Development, and Strategic Planning. Ms. Lombardo works closely with numerous federal government and commercial clients to help them achieve their business objectives.  

Ann Timmons, Communications Artist

Ann Timmons, Communications Artist, teaches people how to speak so others will listen! Using her background as an actor, director, writer, and teacher, Ann shares her distinctive approach to presentation skills and communications training, helping each client discover and embrace an authentic presence. Her clients include political leaders at the local, state and national levels, as well as leaders of national associations, non-profit organizations, lawyers, members of the clergy, and business executives. She has taught public speaking and presentation skills for Georgetown University, George Washington University, and American University, where she received the prestigious Alice Paul Award for her work with the Women and Politics Institute.

Arti Varanasi, Advancing Synergy

As President and CEO of Advancing Synergy, Arti Patel Varanasi is passionate about developing innovations that empower individuals to lead healthier and longer lives and yield positive impact for communities. She has over 25 years combined experience in cancer research, teaching, advocacy, capacity building, public health and project management. Arti is a graduate of the National Science Foundation ACTiVATE® Program for women technology entrepreneurs. Her wide and varied experience includes founding three different advocacy organizations that grew into sustainable entities.
