The WIT programs committee is responsible for developing, organizing, and producing relevant educational programs open to both WIT members and the public. WIT programs aim to bring together the women of metropolitan Washington’s diverse technology community to expand their knowledge and relationships leading to professional development.

Activity and Programs

The programs committee, in coordination with the WIT board, develops the topics and formats of the quarterly WIT.Connects programs. They identify and recruit speakers and coordinate with the WIT office and other committees to make the necessary arrangements for each program.

WIT programs are varied to meet the diverse interests of our members. Previous topics have included:

Volunteer Opportunity

The committee welcomes volunteers interested in driving the educational content of WIT. Committee members get the opportunity to interact with respected subject matter experts as they recruit for and coordinate events. The committee also provides an opportunity to work across WIT, coordinating with other committees and sponsors.
