WIT's COVID-19 POLICY FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS

The following is WIT’s current COVID-19 Policy for in person events. WIT reserves the right to amend or rescind this policy in its sole discretion. However, WIT will comply with any federal, state, or local mandate related to COVID in-person gatherings and such mandate will supersede this policy for the effective term of the mandate.  All attendees at a WIT event must comply with the policy as set forth below.

  • We ask that you are fully vaccinated to attend an in-person WIT event.
    • An individual shall be determined “fully vaccinated” when that person has received, at least 14 days prior to the WIT event, either the second dose in a two-dose COVID-10 vaccine series (e.g., Pfizer or Moderna) or a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson).
  • If you are not vaccinated, you will need to show proof of a negative test from a certified third-party company (no home tests) no more than 72 hours prior to the event date, and you will be required to wear a mask during the event.
  • When arriving on-site at an event, you will be required to show proof of vaccination or your negative test results - we will accept your vaccine card or a photo of your vaccine card.
    • Access to the event shall be denied if you are not fully vaccinated, if you do not attest to being fully vaccinated if asked, OR if you are not able to provide the negative test result.
  • If you attend a WIT event, you voluntarily assume any and all risks associated with exposure to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in all forms and hereby release, waive, and hold harmless WIT from any illness, injury, death or damages incurred by you or others with which you come into contact during your attendance at a WIT event.

Please contact WIT at [email protected] if you have any questions.
