The Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) committee works to create a strong culture of belonging that is inclusive of abilities, ethnicity/race, economic status, sexual orientation, and veteran status. The committee works across the WIT organization to collaborate on ways to increase representation within all of our programs. ActivityThe DE&I committee meets monthly virtually. The team works with other WIT committees and leadership to advise on DE&I questions and efforts. These activities may include setting guidelines for meeting participants, identifying opportunities to broaden the scope of activities to be more inclusive, or training on having courageous conversations. Volunteer OpportunityThe committee welcomes all participants to lend their time and expertise. It provides an excellent opportunity to increase knowledge about DE&I strategy and tactics and is a way to work across the WIT organization, making new and diverse connections.
